Job description
The opportunity
The GDS Marketing Program Manager (Assistant Director) will help Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) program leaders and program managers bring external and/or internal marketing and event programs to life by understanding EY’s business and marketing strategies and transforming business priorities into world‑class execution and delivery. These programs and events will create measurable impact globally and locally, integrate across sectors, and deliver sustainable results.
This role requires an experienced, energetic and resilient team player with a strong understanding of what it takes to deliver multi‑channel marketing and event programs in a complex environment. Working closely in an agile team, the successful candidate will be required to understand the capabilities of the current GDS teams and effectively manage BMC and onshore stakeholder expectations by building strong relationships and collaborating closely within the BMC team and with client‑serving subject‑matter experts.
The Marketing & Event Program Manager is expected to spearhead and oversee end‑to‑end campaign and event operations—from planning to completion. - Set up project and governance structure: Determine available time, budget and resources for each program or event, track status, and help the team meet deadlines and achieve set goals.
- Manage and drive resources: Work extensively with Global Delivery Services teams, third‑party vendors and internal partners to drive campaign delivery, high- quality events and achieve desired outcomes.
- Social media: Collaborate with design teams on artwork to ensure brand‑compliant, compelling assets; communicate timelines and status to stakeholders; post content via a unified platform; and report on campaign performance.
- Web presence: Update relevant web pages and promotional spots using content management systems and monitor digital performance metrics.
- Communication: Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across geographies and functions (BMC, Markets, Talent, Finance, Supply Chain Services, etc.). Drive regular team meetings, present progress updates, and analyze results from completed campaigns/events.
- Budgeting: Manage overall and campaign/event‑specific budgets, including processing invoices, tracking expenditures in Excel and identifying any deviations from plan.
- Campaign/Event optimization & reporting: Analyze campaign/event outcomes, support continuous optimization efforts, capture insights for future testing and improvements, and create performance reports for executive stakeholders.
- Ad hoc request management/execution: Support the BMC team with administrative tasks and operational needs related to ongoing campaigns and event programs.
- Onsite and virtual event management: Oversee logistics and execution for both onsite and virtual events, ensuring seamless operations, effective branding and an exceptional attendee experience
