The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Junior Consultant to join our PeopleSoft support team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in financial system processes while assisting in the configuration and support of PeopleSoft solutions to meet client needs.

• We are looking for a motivated Junior Consultant to join our PeopleSoft support team. This techno-functional role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in financial performance management while working on the configuration and support of PeopleSoft solutions to meet client needs.
• The position combines routine responsibilities with evolving challenges, providing a balance between stability and variety. You will divide your time between Finance processes and Finance systems support, acting as a super user to enable and guide primary users in effectively fulfilling their responsibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Perform finance process and finance systems support activities, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs.
• Leverage your techno-functional expertise to identify and propose improvements to underlying processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of user support, including opportunities for automation (e.g., Workflows, RPAs).
• Execute daily operational tasks and Level 1 ticket resolution following established documentation, while proactively updating and expanding documentation where needed.
• Perform data entry activities requested by stakeholders on a recurring (daily and weekly) basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and systems to improve support capabilities.
• Engage with finance stakeholders to understand their requirements related to systems performance and support, enabling effective execution of their responsibilities. Partner with teams to ensure monthly activities are completed according to agreed timelines.
• Participate in and support key finance cycles, including month-end close, year-end close, and quarterly and annual planning processes.
• Support finance stakeholders in extracting data and generating reports for audit queries and regulatory purposes (e.g., FERC reporting), as well as managing master data updates and change requests.

Skills and attributes for success

 << What we look for>>

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in systems, accounting, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of techno-functional experience in ERP applications such as PeopleSoft or SAP, as well as financial platforms like OneStream, Hyperion, PowerPlan, or similar tools.
• Foundational knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes, including Asset.
• Management, General Ledger, Close activities, and FP&A.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model within a distributed team across multiple locations and time zones.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
