Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Consultant to join our PeopleSoft ERP team. The ideal candidate will assist in the implementation, support, and enhancement of PeopleSoft Financial modules, such as General Ledger (GL), Asset Management (AM), Accounts Payable (AP), etc.. Key Responsibilities:
- System Support & Maintenance:
- Provide first-level support for PeopleSoft Financial modules (GL, AM, AP, others).
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues reported by users.
- Assist in testing patches, updates, and customizations to ensure system functionality.
- Implementation & Configuration:
- Collaborate with senior consultants and project teams in implementing PeopleSoft enhancements.
- Assist in system configuration based on business requirements.
- Participate in system and integration testing activities.
- Business Analysis:
- Work with business users to gather and document requirements for process improvements or new system features.
- Help translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Training & Documentation:
- Assist in preparing user guides, training materials, and system documentation.
- Support end-user training sessions to ensure effective use of PeopleSoft modules.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with the client business processes related with PeopleSoft or any other ERP and applications.
- Proactively seek opportunities to develop deeper expertise in ERP systems and financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
- At least 1 year in financial processes and PeopleSoft modules:
- General Ledger (GL): Chart of accounts, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Asset Management (AM): Asset tracking, depreciation, and reporting.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Vendor management, invoice processing, and payment cycles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge in SQL or PeopleSoft Query for data extraction and analysis.
- Basic knowledge of PeopleTools or any ERP implementation lifecycle.
- Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Prior internship or experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is a plus
