Tax Staff

Our Tax practice is made up of a team of professionals providing specialized tax technical services to US clients.

The opportunity

At EY, we are looking for final-year students or graduates in the fields of Public Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (the latter being the third priority) to work in our Global Delivery Services in Buenos Aires, particularly in the tax area for International Taxes.

Some of the main tasks will include:

• Analysis and preparation of informational forms such as 5471, 8858, and 8865, from start to finish, creating financial statements from income statements to balance sheets.
• Analysis of client requirements in the submission of forms 5471, 8858, and 8865.
• Maintaining smooth communication with the client regarding their requests, assisting seniors and managers with various clients and projects.

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken. (Mandatory)
• Availability to work on holidays and weekends, as well as overtime.
• Knowledge of taxes as well as Excel (optional, as all training will be provided here at the firm).

You will support the International Transactional Quantitative Services team with to identify filing requirements and prepare the necessary US tax filings and disclosures for US persons who make investments in certain foreign entities. Also, we prepare other tax or informational returns to ensure compliance with US tax authorities (Internal Revenue Service). You’ll be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.
