IAM Identity Management Service Owner

The opportunity
Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization, a part of Information Security which, enables over 400,000 individuals across 140+ countries to access systems and information securely. As a member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team this position will contribute towards execution of an IAM roadmap that meets security requirements, including but not limited to security for, a complex Active Directory (AD) environment, hybrid cloud deployment, mobile computing, policy driven security, SSO, identity lifecycle management, and federation focusing on multiple protocols.

This role supports various functions, including analytics and reporting, service reviews, service improvements, service transition, introduction and readiness, and other activities for end-to-end IT Service Management (ITSM) of the Identity Management portfolio.
Your key responsibilities
The IAM Identity Management Service Owner partners closely across the Identity Management portfolio to support and manage products including, but not limited to, SailPoint IIQ, Microsoft Identity Management (MIM), Azure Entra ID Connect, and other supporting technologies.

Advocate for our internal customers and addresses business challenges

Educate stakeholders on the key capabilities available through internal products and services meeting specific security controls

Ensure service introduction, transition, and readiness activities are being delivered for new Identity Management products, and work to incorporate into the Service Catalogue

Drive early adoption of the products and build relationships to retain engagement throughout the life of the service offering

Monitor usage and manage metric reporting demonstrating product effectiveness and value proposition

Gather product feedback from stakeholders and vendors for collaboration with Service Owners, Architects, and Engineers on roadmaps

Serve as the point of escalation (notification) for major incidents

Drive service review discussions providing measurements on usage, performance, and effectiveness of service offerings

Lead service improvement and product compliance initiatives for the Identity Management portfolio

Own and manage other BAU activities for Identity Management portfolio, such as audit support, documentation, license management, contract reviews, and miscellaneous "mini" projects that arise
Skills and attributes for success

Conceptual knowledge of Identity Management portfolio applications and technologies, as well as operating system platforms including Cloud technologies, to support proper recognition and potential impact of new product or service introductions

Experience with developing management reporting and process improvement actions

Analytical acumen and solution orientation to provide recommendations to teams and leaders in support of avoiding financial, operational, and security risks to EY and our customers

Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of a matrixed, geographically and culturally dispersed organization

Effective communication and analysis skills to break down complex issues, formulate solutions, and influence partners at various levels of the organization, including senior management.

Possess knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to drive compliance in Incident, Problem, and Change processes and drive as necessary

Possess knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM)

Good understanding of project management principles and practices
To qualify for the role you must have
-
Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
-
5 - 7 years working within Information Technology in a global firm
-
Experience in project management, service introduction, and service readiness processes
Ideally, you’ll also have
-
Understanding of Identity Management products and services
-
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification
-
Knowledge of Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
