Business Manager – Data Insights & Analytics Senior Associate

The objective of working in the Business Management Office (BMO) within Information Security is to provide strategic and operational support to ensure the effective management and execution of security initiatives. This includes coordinating and managing projects to align with the overall security strategy, facilitating communication and collaboration across different teams and service lines, monitoring and reporting on performance metrics, supporting budget and resource management, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Position Summary:

Within the Information Security Business Management Office (BMO), this role supports the execution of data‑driven insights that enable effective decision‑making, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment.
This Senior Associate role is intentionally designed as a developmental position, with the expectation that the individual will grow into the full scope of a Supervising Associate over time. The role provides exposure to advanced analytics, stakeholder engagement, and insight generation, while operating with guidance, mentorship, and structured support.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Support the discovery and analysis of business insights from multiple data sources, focusing on accuracy, clarity, and relevance, with guidance from senior team members
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of analytics solutions using Power BI and other analytics tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions and help translate requirements into data analyses and reporting outputs
- Assist in synthesizing data findings into clear visuals, summaries, and narratives for internal stakeholders and leadership consumption
- Apply established data standards, quality checks, and compliance requirements to ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs
- Participate in insight reviews, team discussions, and working sessions to build understanding of business context and analytics best practices
- Actively engage in learning opportunities to build technical, analytical, and business acumen
Role Progression – Growth Over Time (Path to Supervising Associate):
- Independently leading portions of insight discovery and analysis, including identifying key drivers, implications, and risks
- Designing more advanced analytics solutions and models to proactively surface insights that inform decision‑making
- Taking increased ownership of stakeholder interactions, helping shape data‑driven questions and recommendations
- Translating complex analyses into compelling, executive‑ready narratives and presentations
- Informally mentoring peers through knowledge sharing, review of work products, and modeling best practices
- Contributing ideas that promote innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in analytics approaches and tools
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Strong analytical foundation with the ability to work with structured and unstructured data
- Working proficiency in PowerBI, including data modeling and visualization best practices; exposure to AI or advanced analytics tools is a plus
- Ability to clearly communicate data findings to non‑technical audiences with guidance
- Growing business acumen and interest in connecting insights to business outcomes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and risk management standards
- Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and coaching
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Typically, 3–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or insight‑focused roles
- Demonstrated experience contributing to data analysis, reporting, or insight development in a professional environment
