Role Summary

EY GDS is looking for an IAM Engineer with hands-on Saviynt experience to support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) services in a large enterprise environment.

The candidate will work as part of an IAM delivery team supporting identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, access requests, certifications, application onboarding, integrations, troubleshooting, and day-to-day Saviynt operations.

This position is intended for a Senior 1–2 level professional who can independently handle assigned technical and operational activities, troubleshoot IAM issues, and collaborate effectively with senior engineers, application teams, and business stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

•    Support and administer Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration capabilities.
•    Support Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) identity lifecycle processes.
•    Manage and troubleshoot accounts and access provisioning and deprovisioning.
•    Support access request and approval workflows.
•    Configure and support identities, accounts, entitlements, roles, and access-related configurations.
•    Support application onboarding and connector configuration.
•    Support identity and account aggregation, reconciliation, and correlation processes.
•    Support access certifications and access review campaigns.
•    Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Saviynt workflows and rules.
•    Support integrations between Saviynt and enterprise applications using REST APIs and other supported integration methods.
•    Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs, provisioning activities, imports, and synchronization processes.
•    Troubleshoot provisioning failures, aggregation issues, entitlement-related problems, and identity lifecycle issues.
•    Analyze IAM incidents and service requests and provide appropriate technical resolution.
•    Perform root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues and document findings.
•    Collaborate with application owners, IAM engineers, security teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
•    Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
•    Support IAM governance, compliance, and audit-related activities.
•    Work within enterprise incidents, request, change, and problem-management processes.

Required Skills

•    3–5 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance, or related cybersecurity areas.
•    Hands-on experience with Saviynt.
•    Good understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts.
•    Experience supporting Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes.
•    Experience with account and access provisioning and deprovisioning.
•    Understanding of identities, accounts, entitlements, roles, and access models.
•    Experience supporting access requests and approval processes.
•    Experience with identity aggregation, reconciliation, and account correlation.
•    Understanding of access certifications and access review processes.
•    Experience troubleshooting IAM, provisioning, and identity lifecycle issues.
•    Working knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
•    Familiarity with enterprise ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
•    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
•    Ability to work independently on assigned activities while collaborating with a broader IAM team.
•    Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Good to Have

•    Experience configuring and supporting Saviynt connectors and application integrations.
•    Experience with Saviynt workflows, rules, and jobs.
•    Experience onboarding applications into Saviynt.
•    Experience with access certification campaigns.
•    Knowledge of SQL and Saviynt analytics/reporting capabilities.
•    Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SCIM, and API-based integrations.
•    Basic scripting knowledge using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
•    Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
•    Exposure to AWS IAM or other cloud identity platforms.
•    Understanding of RBAC and role-based access models.
•    Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) concepts.
•    Exposure to identity governance compliance and audit activities.
•    Previous experience working in a large global enterprise or consulting environment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IAM professional with practical Saviynt experience who can independently manage assigned operational and technical activities.

The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting identity and access issues, supporting provisioning and application onboarding, working with workflows and integrations, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.

For the Senior 1–2 level, we are looking for strong execution, technical ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision while continuing to develop deeper expertise in Saviynt and Identity Governance.
