The GDS SAP Business Intelligence & Operations Specialist will support SAP-alliance priorities across alliance operations, sales and pipeline reporting, revenue and forecast analytics, SAP PartnerEdge program administration, funding and incentive visibility, investment tracking, Power BI dashboarding, CRM/data hygiene, SAP partner tools, executive business reviews and decision-ready insights.
While this role focuses on business intelligence and insights leveraging financial and other data, it is not a Finance role. This role will be embedded in the business and collaborate closely with the Finance team that owns financial reporting data, tools, and processes.
This Assistant Director-level role will help build scalable operating rhythms and reporting practices, convert complex SAP Alliance business information into clear performance narratives and recommendations, and use approved AI and automation tools to simplify processes, improve data reliability and accelerate insight generation across a scalable GCC/GBS operating model.
Your key responsibilities
• Lead SAP Alliance reporting governance, operating rhythms and business review cadences, ensuring clear ownership, consistent metric definitions, escalation paths, stakeholder alignment, version discipline and leadership visibility.
• Partner with Finance to ensure accuracy and quality for recurring SAP Alliance reports, scorecards, Power BI dashboards, executive summaries and insight packs covering sales, pipeline, revenue influence, forecasts, opportunity progression, funding, incentives, MDF, investments, solution activation, certifications, SAP Store activity and business outcomes.
• Partner with SAP alliance, sales, regional, solution, program and data owners to improve reporting accuracy, CRM hygiene, opportunity data quality, SAP partner analytics, metric consistency and source-system discipline.
• Develop executive-ready insights, performance narratives and visual summaries that support SAP Alliance leadership decision-making, strategic planning, prioritization, business reviews, investment discussions, pipeline interventions and action follow-through.
• Analyze trends across pipeline, revenue influence, co-sell activity, GTM campaigns, regional performance, SAP solution areas, alliance growth programs, investments, partner engagement, SAP Store performance and operational indicators to identify risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
• Translate SAP GTM activation, alliance enablement, campaigns, SAP store activity, partner motions and ecosystem growth priorities into reporting requirements, success measures, dashboard views, trackers and leadership commentary.
• Support SAP partner enablement operations by tracking opportunity registration, partner engagement activity, enablement participation, certification progress, solution-area alignment, sales activation outcomes and action closure against alliance priorities.
• Champion continuous improvement by mapping SAP Alliance reporting workflows, removing duplication, rationalizing manual trackers, standardizing inputs, strengthening controls, documenting processes and embedding quality checks across reporting cycles.
• Drive automation across dashboard refreshes, data validation, CRM and SAP tool extracts, recurring commentary, reporting calendars, workflow notifications, action trackers, certification trackers, funding trackers and partner program dashboards.
• Use approved AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and Power Platform to support trend identification, anomaly detection, automated summaries, dashboard commentary, leadership narratives, data quality prompts and reusable SAP Alliance reporting accelerators.
• Maintain SharePoint repositories, reporting calendars, version-controlled files, dashboard documentation, governance logs, SOPs, knowledge assets and audit-ready evidence to support continuity and smooth SAP Alliance execution.
• Advise onshore Reporting, Growth & Innovation and SAP Alliance Operations stakeholder teams on ad hoc analysis, special projects, process improvements, dashboard enhancements, executive asks and operational risks.
• Guide junior contributors or shared delivery resources by clarifying SAP Alliance priorities, reviewing outputs, reinforcing quality standards, supporting capability building and enabling timely delivery.
• Convert complex SAP Alliance data, reporting outputs and business performance indicators into simple, stakeholder-friendly narratives that help senior leaders understand performance, evaluate trade-offs, identify next actions and act with confidence.

• Technology aptitude and business-level understanding of SAP alliance solution areas such as SAP S/4 HANA, RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Business AI, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP Signavio, industry cloud solutions and SAP Store offerings.
• Strong understanding of AI-enabled analytics and responsible use of approved AI tools to improve SAP Alliance reporting efficiency, insights, narratives, commentary, forecasting inputs, performance storytelling and process automation.
• Exposure to continuous process improvement, simplification, reporting automation, workflow standardization, data validation, process documentation, controls, audit readiness and operational excellence in a GCC/GBS environment supporting SAP Alliance priorities.
• Ability to identify recurring manual effort, define improvement opportunities, prioritize quick wins and institutionalize sustainable process changes across SAP reporting and alliance enablement workflows.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including data analysis, modelling, pivots, lookups, charts, variance views, storyboarding and leadership-ready presentations.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint lists, workflow tools, dashboarding, data visualization and approved AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Working familiarity with CRM, opportunity management, partner relationship, channel reporting, SAP Store, deal registration, certification, funding or incentive tracking tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior onshore stakeholders, regional teams, SAP alliance leaders, partner program owners, sales operations and delivery teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have
• University degree required; qualification in business, analytics, technology, engineering, data, management, commerce or a related discipline preferred.
• MBA, postgraduate qualification or equivalent certification in business analytics, sales/revenue operations, data analytics, project management, process improvement, automation, SAP fundamentals, SAP BPT, SAP S/4 HANA or related enterprise technology would be an advantage.
• 12–15 years of relevant work experience in reporting and insights, SAP alliance operations, partner operations, sales operations, revenue operations, business intelligence, analytics, growth operations, consulting, performance management, process improvement, automation or strategic operations.
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders, global teams and cross-functional reporting initiatives in a matrixed GCC/GBS, professional services, consulting, technology, SAP Alliance, partner ecosystem or shared services environment.
• Experience preparing executive dashboards, business review packs, sales and pipeline reports, alliance investment programs, KPI scorecards, governance updates and performance narratives.
• Experience working with CRM, pipeline, SAP partner tools, SAP Store, certification, funding, incentive, investment, campaign or business performance data, including data quality remediation with source owners.
• Ability to manage recurring SAP Alliance reporting operations, stakeholder asks, ad hoc analysis, process documentation and continuous improvement while maintaining accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality.
• Ability to work flexibly across priorities, stakeholder groups, global time zones and SAP Alliance business requirements, based on assignment needs.

• Ability to convert complex SAP Alliance performance information into insights, executive commentary, business implications, risk indicators and recommended actions.
• Exposure to GCC/GBS delivery models, offshore-onshore collaboration, knowledge transition, reporting service management, SLAs, operational excellence, quality management or continuous improvement would be an advantage.
• Experience collaborating with SAP Alliance, ERP, cloud, consulting, systems integrator or professional services ecosystem teams would be useful.
