The opportunity 

The Early Careers Recruiting Services Supervisor oversees recruiting coordinators, executes early careers recruiting strategies, and supports the candidate experience. This role provides coaching, guidance, and direction to our GDS Recruiting Coordinators and supports Early Careers initiatives, projects, and hiring objectives. 

The supervisor collaborates with Recruiters, Early Careers Team Leads, and Early Careers leadership to identify recruitment needs and develop effective hiring for internships and entry-level positions. They are responsible for evaluating the performance of recruiting coordinators, ensuring compliance with EY policies, and implementing best practices in talent acquisition. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential for this position, as is the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities 

  • Provide coaching and performance management for local team of 36 Recruiting Coordinators who work in support of US Early Careers Recruiting efforts by collaborating with US team on how the RC is performing, etc.
  • Collaborate with peers (team of 3 total) on overall RC performance and best practices to leverage across the group, or group trainings needed, etc.
  • Serve as Counselor in EY performance management tool (LEAD) and process
  • Handle personal requests time off, approvals, etc.
  • Elevate themes for learning support needed to local Talent Team and US TA2 Experiences Team
  • Elevate performance recognition or concerns
  • Provide US Early Careers compliance support
  • Perform Fair Employment Practices Compliance (FEPC) requisition audits
  • Address incomplete applicant data including missing skills assessments
  • Review and manage mismatched candidate applications
  • Manage candidate assessments including initiation and result uploading
  • Support operational or project-oriented tasks on behalf of US Early Careers recruiting such as referrals, job postings, EY job boards/career center boards, acquisition initiatives

 

Skills and attributes for success 

The Early Careers Recruiting Services Supervisor collaborates with the recruiting team and maintains relationships used to communicate issues, concerns, or questions to recruiters and senior team members that can affect candidate selection and strategy. The Early Careers Recruiting Services Supervisor works with recruiters, US Team Leads, Early Careers Leadership, and other groups to sustain professional relationships. Additionally, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the recruiting coordinators to ensure consistent and effective recruitment operations.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have 

  • Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in recruiting and/or sourcing in professional/financial services, corporate and/or agency environment preferred
  • Team supervision experience
  • Strategic-thinking skills and ability to collaborate with team members on best practices. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and knowledge
  • Proficiency in working with applicant tracking software or recruiting databases/systems
  • Experience with AI-driven tools and platforms
  • Experience in working with North American talent markets in a professional services environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with numerous projects happening simultaneously
  • Strong reporting and data analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Fluency in English, verbally and written
