Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, the Deal Technology practice works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in IT who are serial transaction advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions, and people. 
Your key responsibilities
As a Director in EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Deal Technology practice, you will be a vital member of the team, managing and executing IT focused projects across sectors. You will support the development and execution of strategies that enable transactions. Part of your role will also involve developing experience in different types of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g., operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, tracking). A commercial mindset and a focus on delivery are key to this role.

To qualify for the role, you must have
•    A completed undergraduate degree (Bachelor's, Licenciatura, or equivalent) [JS1.1]with a minimum of five years of professional work experience.
•    Significant management consulting experience.
•     Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and motivating teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
•    Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
•    Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis. 
•    Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
•    The ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
•    Strong executive presence, with demonstrated success in communicating complex topics clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
•    Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and client teams to support successful engagement delivery.
•    Expertise in a minimum of 4 of the following IT skillsets:
o    IT strategy
o    Enterprise architecture
o    Infrastructure and cloud architecture
o    Cyber and IAM architecture
o    Digital Technology Strategy
o    Digital IT operating model transformation 
o    IT cost reduction
o    IT security / cyber
o    IT shared services 
o    IT organization transformation
o    ERP implementation 
o    Digital business enablement using digital technology enablers (i.e., advanced analytics, robotic process automation, virtual reality)
o    Cloud SaaS or PaaS (including Collaboration) strategy and delivery
o    Cloud IaaS or Data Center migration planning and execution
o    Identity and Access Management (IAM) / Active Directory services strategy
o    IT service management
o    Operations Center (e.g., NOC, SOC) or Managed Service Provider
o    IT TSA development  
o    IT finance management 
o    IT infrastructure management 
o    IT outsourcing / offshoring 
o    IT contract management 
o    IT or Cyber Diligence 
o    IT synergy identification 
o    Data governance, separation, and transition 
o    Integration and Separation Planning 
•    You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
•    The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
•    Strong written and verbal English proficiency, given the role's collaboration with global teams.
Ideally, you will have
•    A proven record of excellence in an IT transactions role.
•    Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
•    A completed graduate degree (Master’s, Maestría, or equivalent) in business, IT, analytics, finance, engineering, computer science, or another relevant field.[JS2.1]
•    Knowledge of how to leverage AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
•    Hands-on experience delivering IT transaction engagements within a relevant industry.
•    Certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA are beneficial.
