Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, the Deal Technology practice works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in operations who are serial transaction advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions, and people.

Your key responsibilities

As an Associate with EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution Deal Technology practice, you will be a vital member of the team supporting and executing IT & technology focused projects. You will assist in the execution of projects across all sectors, supporting our client service team in developing and executing strategies for transactions. Part of your role will also involve developing experience across a range of different type of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g. operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g. integration planning, tracking). Having a commercial mind-set is key to this consulting-based role.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A completed undergraduate degree (Bachelor's, Licenciatura, or equivalent) with a minimum of one year of professional work experience.
• Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
• Ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
• You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Strong written and verbal English proficiency, given the role's collaboration with global teams.

Ideally, you will have

• Previous professional experience within management consulting, transaction (mergers or acquisitions) advisory, or a comparable large professional services organization.
• Knowledge of how to leverage AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

• Expertise in a minimum of 2 of the following IT skillsets:
