Within EY-Parthenon Strategy and Execution, the Deal Management practice works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in operations who are serial transaction advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people.
Your key responsibilities
As a Consultant in Deal Management, you will be a vital member of the team supporting and executing operational focused projects. Working as part of cross-functional teams, you will manage defined workstreams and deliverables across a range of transaction-related engagements. You will coordinate activities across stakeholders, monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and contribute to the development of actionable recommendations. You will also support and coach junior team members while continuing to broaden your experience across both pre-deal and post-deal engagements. Having a commercial mind-set is key to this consulting based role.

To qualify for the role, you must have
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience supporting consulting, transaction, transformation, project management, operational improvement, or related business initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and drive work products to completion in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
• You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Ideally, you will have
• Previous experience in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
• Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
• Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
