Staff/Junior- The role supports the initiatives of the Global Payroll engagements. Responsible for service delivery support in conjunction with EY’s engagement managers globally.

The opportunity

The Payroll Delivery Staff role provides support in payroll delivery to local Payroll operation teams. Opportunity to partner with the Global Payroll engagement teams to work on GDS Payroll delivery initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with the Global Payroll engagement teams to drive GDS Payroll delivery.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation.
• Learn and work on payroll system set-up
• Work with multi-disciplinary functions (process & technology)
• Manage the application and monitoring of the Hub’s methodology framework, principles, and delegations

Skills and attributes for success

• Exposure to payroll service delivery will be a plus
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and tools
• Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience on functional and product capabilities of ERPs like SAP, Oracle or Workday will be a plus
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good Project management skills

Ideally, you will have

• A payroll related diploma/certificate may be advantageous, but not necessary 
• Prior experience in tax accounting and finance would be beneficial, but not necessary 
• Must demonstrate strong analytical skills
