Job description
Global Compliance and Reporting is an integrated suite of Tax and Accounting services that EY provides to our
multinational clients. Global Compliance & Reporting offers the ease of managing compliance & regulatory filings
by:
a) Taking care of the complexity of regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions
b) Centrally managing the global compliance and reporting activities
c) Controlling the cost of managing compliance across various countries
Each client is referred to as an Engagement and the Global Compliance and Reporting is responsible for
implementing the integrated service delivery model and subsequent delivery of services as per the service level
agreements. Globally, tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and
hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. The
Global Compliance and Reporting professional will be collaborating with the EY global network to ensure client’s
compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time.
Job description:
Responsible for service management and compliance process control. Provide visibility to the Client at each stage
of the contract lifetime to facilitate proactive risk management. Leverage a single global approach using consistent
methodologies, processes and enabling technologies ensures an exceptional client service.
o Handle a portfolio of clients.
o Point of contact for service delivery and issue resolution for work delivered from global talent hub.
o Work with multiple teams across the EY network to ensure smooth delivery of GCR engagements.
o Maintain central calendar of engagement, deliverable milestones and statutory due dates
o Participate in client calls to provide status update of the engagement deliverables.
o Track and facilitate resolution of client issues and requests.
o Participate in business development activities, network with GCR country teams and promote usage of
global delivery services.
o Apply project management concepts to engagements in the portfolio.
o Track engagement process improvement, tax planning and risk management opportunities
o Collaborate with offshore teams on best practices for engagement set up and maintenance.
o Accountable for the customer satisfaction scores of the portfolio
Skills requirements
o Bachelors degree or advanced students in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics or similar
o English and other languages valued
o Have excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
o Demonstrate strong organizational skills and structured thinking abilities
o Working knowledge of MS office
