Role Overview

Workforce Insights (WFI) is seeking an Assistant Director – Data Analysis & Insights Generation to expand our ability to deliver enterprise‑level insights for the EY US firm.

Today, analysis is primarily embedded within Service Line (SL), Industry Group (IG), or office support and focuses on local readouts and immediate consultation needs. This role is designed to extend beyond those constraints by enabling cross‑dataset synthesis, trend analysis over time, and standardized insight generation that can scale across the firm.

This is a player/coach role—responsible for both hands-on analysis and insights delivery, as well as managing and developing analysts as part of the Buenos Aires Workforce Insights hub.

This role strengthens Workforce Insights’ ability to deliver:

  • Cross‑dataset synthesis (experience + outcomes + demographics)
  • Trend analysis over time to identify sustained patterns
  • Standardized, repeatable insight generation to enable scale
  • Consistent, evidence‑based insights to inform:
    • Talent priorities
    • COE solution design
    • Leadership decision-making

Key Responsibilities

  1. Enterprise Insights Generation & Analysis (Hands-On)
    1. Perform cross-dataset analysis connecting listening data with outcomes and workforce context
    2. Develop trend-based insights to distinguish signal from noise across cycles
    3. Produce clear, structured narratives that support leadership decision-making
    4. Translate data into actionable insights aligned to Talent priorities and business needs
  2. Standardization & Scalable Insight Delivery
    1. Build and maintain repeatable insight generation methods (templates, workflows, analytic approaches)
    2. Establish consistent frameworks for segmentation, comparison, and interpretation
    3. Reduce variability in outputs and enable scalable, efficient delivery of insights

  1. Data Quality & Analysis Readiness
    1. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and QA checks
    2. Translate stakeholder questions into structured analytic requirements
    3. Support reliable insight generation by improving data readiness and consistency
  2. EY US Operating Model & Data Context
    1. Develop strong understanding of the EY US structure, including Service Lines and Industry Groups / Accounts
    2. Apply this context to ensure appropriate segmentation, comparability, and storytelling
    3. Navigate complexity across data sources and stakeholder needs with clear, defensible analytic approaches
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration
    1. Partner with US WFI consultants and leaders to ensure insights align with ongoing consultations
    2. Deliver outputs that are clear, concise, and usable for Talent and business stakeholders
    3. Support consistency in messaging and interpretation across WFI deliverables
  4. People Leadership (Player/Coach)
    1. Manage and develop analysts and/or business analysts within the Buenos Aires hub\
    2. Establish standards for quality, documentation, and delivery
    3. Provide coaching and oversight while remaining directly hands-on in analysis and output development

Key Deliverables

  • Enterprise insight packages (cross-data synthesis, trends, segmentation insights)
  • Repeatable analytic assets (templates, reusable code/workflows, QA frameworks)
  • Standardized insight outputs that support consistent interpretation across stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with HR / people data models and translating business questions into analysis
  • Strong capability in data validation, reconciliation, and structured analysis
  • Apply AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate complex analysis, enable cross-dataset insight generation, and guide the development of high-quality visualizations and narratives, while embedding AI-driven approaches into repeatable, scalable analytic workflows
  • Experience delivering cross‑dataset synthesis and trend analysis
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Python for data analysis/validation
    • Power BI (or similar visualization tools)
    • Qualtrics (survey analysis)
  • Strong communication skills in a distributed, global delivery model

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise listening or survey programs
  • Familiarity with repeatable reporting and insight generation at scale
  • Experience in people leadership or coaching analysts
  • Experience working with US-based stakeholders from a nearshore or global model
