Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
Information Security (InfoSec) - InfoSec prevents, detects, responds, and mitigates cybersecurity risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.
The opportunity
The Cyber & Investigative Services (CIS) Cyber Remediation Coordinator will exercise vulnerability management techniques coupled with response and recovery processes to coordinate the mitigation of observed high and critical severity risks and threats on a global scale. Candidates for the role must have a comprehension of vulnerability management and coordination of activities, establish and foster relationships on a global scale, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, candidates must have a sense of diplomacy, ability to anticipate obstacles, and decision-making skills to handle the fast-paced world of cybersecurity.
Your key responsibilities
- Coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities detected by Vulnerability Discovery team along with application support team
- Adhere to SOPs and internal action playbooks as part of BAU handling
- Engage corresponding Security Consultants of the SL
- Serve as a liaison to different businesses and interface with fellow team members and colleagues on other security teams
- Effectively interact with other IT Services professionals
- Prioritize, organize, optimize and automate daily operations
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be willing to be on-call off hours in rotation with other team members (Required)
Skills and attributes for success
- Good foundational knowledge of vulnerability management frameworks and programs
- Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Service Now, XSOAR
- Working knowledge of Python and Sentinel
- Demonstrates integrity and judgment within a professional environment
- Ability to appropriately balance work/personal priorities
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience:
- Up to 5 years relevant experience, such as vulnerability management
- Understanding of Vulnerability Management lifecycle
- Understanding of security threats and vulnerabilities
- Working knowledge of Service Now, XSOAR
- Working knowledge of Python, Splunk etc.
- Experience with SIEM technologies (i.e. Sentinel, Splunk, etc.)
Ideally, you’ll also
- Candidates must hold or be willing to pursue related professional certifications in Information Security, cybersecurity, and/or vulnerability management
