Associate Director, Finance - Global Managed Services
This role serves as a business partner and advisor to key business leaders. The role provides critical thinking on business and operating performance, markets and financial results, forward-looking projections, and market trends to drive improved business insights and inform business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Be a 'Go To' contact for markets, financial, and operational issues while supporting MS and MS Leaders and act as a trusted business adviser. Develop effective working relationships with the extended Finance team and leadership.
 - Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting, focusing on analysis and commentary. Maintain a robust month end reporting process, and ensure commentaries are timely, concise, insightful and action orientated.
 - Understand and analyze wins, losses, declines, pipelines, and backlog to provide support on initiatives such as Backlog improvement, pipeline coverage ratio etc.
 - Collaborate with Reporting COE to develop and maintain primary financial reporting solutions to deliver actionable, accurate, and timely distribution of critical information.
 - Analyze and present complex markets and financial data in a way that is easily understandable. Pro-actively suggest ways to solve problems and to display presentations. Develop and support the delivery of presentations that engage audiences, responding to questions and concerns.
 - Respond to requests from Finance and Business Leadership to answer specific ad hoc questions and provide insightful information to advance leadership discussion and decision making. Support the design and delivery of ad hoc financial analysis, identifying trends and issues.
 - Provide support to GMS as well as Finance initiatives such as Forecast, Outlook and Margin improvement analysis.
 - Support financial scenario modeling for leadership, providing recommended solutions/outcomes within a range of options.
 
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required to perform this position; graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance) is required to perform this position.
 - Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently.
 - Ability to understand and exploit large data sets, present analysis and results through story-telling and problem solving: Requires advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills and experience working with cube data sets (e.g., DAX, MDX)
 - Comfort working in a fast-paced business with rapid growth; ability to handle ambiguity and frame and solve problems is key.
 - Highly team-oriented approach, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritize a number of conflicting demands to meet exacting deadlines.
 - Strong interpersonal skills - can work alongside and gain the trust and respect of stakeholders at all levels of seniority, and excellent communication skills – written and verbal. Strong spoken and written English.
