Position Summary:

The Strategic Coordinator will support the Global Deal Architecture Leader and Chief of Staff in executing the Alliance Deal Architecture Strategy. This role is essential for driving hyper growth by architecting EY's global competencies to address our largest clients' transformational challenges through collaboration with Alliance and Ecosystem partners. The coordinator will help the team establish EY as the end-to-end orchestrator of client needs within an interconnected technology ecosystem.

 

Key responsibilities

Support Alliance Strategy Implementation:

  • Assist in defining EY’s role as the orchestrator within the Alliance ecosystem, focusing on developing multi-alliance, whole ecosystem value propositions and messaging.
  • Help build and maintain a comprehensive solution catalog that encompasses all EY competencies (Tech Consulting, Risk, Tax, etc.) and integrates technology solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic deal support initiatives.
  • Acting as a PMO for activating multi-alliance ecosystem campaigns across geographies, account, and industry groups.

 

Client Engagement and Workshop Facilitation:

  • Organize and facilitate client-focused workshops to explore clients' technology and transformation journeys, while tracking and reporting on strategic deals to enhance pipeline management.
  • Assist in mapping and defining clients' technology landscapes, identifying opportunities, challenges, and key relationships, ensuring a strategic approach to client engagement.

 

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Support the Deal Architecture Leader and Chief of Staff in coordinating meetings with clients, Alliance partners, and EY teams to ensure alignment and optimize engagement, while liaising with solution teams, heads of sales, and other alliance functions.
  • Help establish a regular cadence for stakeholder interactions to enhance EY's wallet share and client satisfaction, focusing on strategic deal support and collaboration.

 

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Assist in identifying and tracking KPIs for Alliance teams, service lines, and client engagements, contributing to effective pipeline management and reporting on strategic deals.
  • Contribute to the development of governance frameworks to measure success and adjust strategies as needed, ensuring alignment with multi-alliance ecosystem objectives.

 

Innovation and Long-term Value Creation:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to innovate and customize solutions based on client needs, ensuring that offerings are aligned with the broader ecosystem value proposition.
  • Document budget parameters and define spending requirements in alignment with client commitments, supporting long-term value creation initiatives.

 

Operational Support:

  • Identify and engage with Alliance sales teams to leverage sector insights and drive revenue growth, focusing on pipeline management and tracking.
  • Support the industrialization of best practices and lessons learned across similar client engagements, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the alliance strategy.

 

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • EY’s Strategic Relationships are complex due to breadth of the relationship across multiple competencies, sectors and geographies. They are also expected to drive a larger portion of EY revenue and require a higher degree of collaboration. The Alliance Ecosystem Deal Architecture Strategic Coordinator will be expected to influence senior level executives across both EY and the alliance partner organization to form and execute the campaign.
  • Must manage complex relationships with multiple stakeholders often with competing priorities
  • Ability to balance enablement and business development activities
  • Evaluate activities, efforts, requests against agreed strategy and plan as well as EY policies
  • Assess and prioritize financial requests against limited/set budgets

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Understanding of technology and business benefits of relevant alliance partner products and solutions
  • Proficiency Alliance partner products, for one or more EY’s alliance partner organizations, is preferred
  • Experience in alliance management or business development for technology or professional services company
  • Experience and evidence of success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships
  • Strong networking and influence management skills resulting in driving actions to outcomes and delivering results actions across organizational boundaries
  • Highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and proven track record delivering alliance sales and revenues

 

Supervision Responsibilities:

  • While largely an individual contributor role, a high degree of collaboration and ability to influence senior stakeholders across account teams, sectors, competencies, and Fields of Play is expected   
  • Must be able to operate independently to drive the overarching program which will include multiple subsets of activities and workstreams

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%; potentially internationally
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones; flex schedule or working hours as needed to collaborate with in-market teams

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Engineering/Technology/Finance.
  • Preferably MBA

 

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience working in relevant technology and professional services environments
  • Minimum eight (8-10) years of experience in consulting services or consultative business development, including experience in managing or developing strategic relationships and campaigns
  • Proven experience working with diverse stakeholders (both internal and external) in a virtual environment, across geographies.

 

Location and work timings:

  • Buenos Aries, Argentina
  • Should be flexible and open to covering US-West Coast work timings (PST) as necessary
