ACR Financial Planning and Analysis Manager - EY Global Delivery Services

Job Summary

EY Finance Managed Service group is seeking a professional to own and drive delivery of our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) operations for a global life science services client. The successful candidate will be an individual with sharp business acumen and number crunching skills, strong project accounting expertise with detailed understanding of accounting, analysis and reporting nuances of complex dynamic services projects. Ideal candidate will be an individual who can partner with sales and delivery stakeholders in end-to-end accounting, analysis and reporting of diverse set of projects executed for end clients. Candidate will be a people leader with a keen awareness of service management optics and an adeptness in utilizing tools and technologies such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, ServiceNow (SNOW), and Power BI. Should be able to ideate to transform run and financial planning, budgeting, variance analysis and reporting

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership and accountability for the delivery of FP&A services, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to SLAs and providing actionable insights to help client stakeholder take timely actions to improve business performance

• Lead the FP&A team through the entire cycle, from data collection, validation, analysis and commentary on business performance data.
• Maintain a deep understanding of service management principles, using metrics and analytics to drive performance improvements.
• Experience of advanced tools and technologies, such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights,  SNOW, and Power BIto streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with multiple client stakeholders like project lead, functional lead Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to optimize FP&A processes and resolve issues swiftly.

• Be able to perform analytics on business unit, projects performance, costing, fees, revenue recognition aspects etc.

• Fluent and confident communication skills to engage with senior client leaders, prepare crisp and impact business presentation with supporting data and analysis.
• Be able to act as business partner to client business leaders- identify areas of revenue growth, cost leakage prevention, margin improvement. 
• Train and develop FP&A team members to build a high-performing team.

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing FP&A functions in large / mid-size service organizations with multiple business segments. 
• Demonstrated experience in multi-dimensional analytics – customer, vendor, margin, cost of delivery etc.
• Tenacity to dig deeper into data to extract hidden insights for facilitating superior business decisions.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a proven ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a focus on delivering results.
• Working knowledge of Anaplan, Workday and Adaptive Insights systems will be added advantage.
