EY’s contractor recruitment team, GigNow, is responsible to source, match and engage contractors for all service lines (SL) and Core Business Services (CBS).  As an EY GigNow Experienced Recruiter at the Assistant Director rank, you'll be an ER Lead, and a single point of contact on location, responsible for managing recruiters, client relationships and recruiting activity. Will counsel other recruiters and team effectively with the other Leads to make sound business decisions. As a producer, the role includes engaging qualified candidates to fill contractor positions to support SLs, teaming with an EY Talent Attraction Recruiter through full recruiting lifecycle.   

At the Assistant Director rank, you'll be expected to work independently daily, solving complex issues, escalating to recruiting leadership as needed, recruiting contractors at the most senior levels, both for US and global business units, and be on point to manage key client relationships. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal clients providing consultation with the leadership on contractor engagement, as well as functioning as a producer and recruiter in support.
  • Collaborate with recruiting peers and work together in a two-recruiter model, acting as the main recruiting contacts for key client groups and candidates.
  • Develop sound business relationships with internal clients to achieve stated goals, maintain relationships and provide regular updates to hiring managers and other stakeholders as appropriate on pipeline development and progress of candidates
  • Responsible for reporting, synthesizing data to deliver meaningful information to leadership for the business to make informed decisions
  • Manage candidates through the entire interview and engaging process from assessing candidate qualifications for current open positions, to negotiating contractor offer terms and initiating onboarding for new contractors
  • Act as champion and responsible for mastering the use of the recruitment tools used in the GigNow recruiting team including GigNow, SAP Fieldglass, and other technology tools
  • Will provide testing and help manage the rollout of a new tool or technology to the recruiting community as needed
  • Work quickly and efficiently with TA recruiters to develop alternative sourcing strategies to ensure talent pool is presented timely to internal clients
  • Responsible for scanning the marketplace for trends and obtaining information on competitive positioning. May make recommendations regarding how this information could affect hiring plans and/or sourcing strategies
  • Serve as an escalation contact for urgent, sensitive matters related to the regulated business and drive growth of contractor adoption through business development activities
  • Advise on the strategic use of contingent workers to meet business needs and objectives, ensuring alignment with EY’s overall talent strategy. 

 

 Knowledge and skills requirements: 

  • A minimum of 8 years of recruiting experience, preferably from a contractor, agency or within professional services, and/or related staffing experience, with an emphasis in assurance/financial audit
  • Possess a strong understanding and continued desire to learn of Client Service Offerings, demonstrating business acumen in the contractor recruitment process within professional service environments
  • Ability to function in a key Recruiter role and act as supervisor and counselor to a team of 10 plus employees
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws, practices, and operations of contractor recruitment
  • Possess high level of specialized knowledge in experienced hire and/or contractor recruitment
  • Ability to articulate and market EY contractor opportunities to candidates
  • Ability to negotiate and close contractor offers
  • Ability to quickly adapt to, embrace and champion new technology and agile tools. Act as a change agent as new technology, tools and processes are rolled out, including video interviews
  • Ability to work effectively in a detail oriented, complex and fast-paced, high volume, complex environment, regularly prioritizing work, and assuming new work and leading and driving projects as required
  • Ability to utilize strategic thinking skills and emotional intelligence to collaborate with fellow team members on best practices
  • Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with clients

 

Ideally, you may have:

  • Prior experience working in complex, high volume professional services industry.    
  • SAP Fieldglass experience a plus.
