The opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for the production of virtual learning delivered by EY. Collaborates with other EY learning professionals to manage the end-to-end deployment of virtual classes, including technology set-up, understanding of class flow, facilitator preparation, managing the live classroom, compliance responsibilities, providing feedback on content and completing post-class activities to award learning credit based on regulatory standards. This role also consults on the design and development of new courses and oversees the production deployment of Service Line courses and/or learning conferences.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the learning technology to deliver an exceptional experience for facilitators and learners in the virtual classroom. This includes technology set-up, consulting with facilitators to understand and document event flow (polling questions, SIM, breakouts etc) to ensure facilitators keep on track and finalizing reporting for timely and accurate credit awarding.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to facilitators and learning sponsors regarding course improvements, e.g., feedback on learning content, compliance issues and effectiveness of activities, etc.
  • Responsible for the accurate awarding of credit to learners and facilitators. Must understand the regulatory impacts of all activities associated with awarding, including confirming timed agenda, validating accurate facilitators, attesting to class attendance and completing all appropriate post class procedures.
  • Manage all producer logistics for complex, large-scale virtual conferences, including partnering with program managers, developing producer support materials, preparing producers and facilitators for the live delivery. 
  • Production point of contact for a Service Line’s virtual courses. Responsibilities include collaborating with other  learning professionals to understand the unique Service Line curriculum needs, developing and maintaining producer support materials, responding to issues raised by producers regarding course content or compliance issues.
  • Consult on the design and development of virtual classes as it relates to technology platforms and production in order to enhance the learner experience and adhere to adult learning principles and compliance standards.
  • Responsible for facilitating onboarding training and/or coaching team members.
  • Manage multiple projects, simultaneously, in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment.
  • As a production lead for a specific initative: establish plans, effectively prioritize workload, prescribe the processes needed to achieve objectives, identify and address issues and evaluate outcomes.
  • Responsible for review and analysis of the reporting to verify the accuracy of attendance data so that credit is awarded timely and meets regulatory standards.
  • Ability to think critically to address and solve for technology and compliance issues during a live event e.g. connectivity and other technology issues, delivery of content goes off track leading to potential compliance issues, all while maintaining a high level of composure and professionalism.
  • Ability to mediate problems appropriately in a calm and professional manner.

 

To qualify for this role, you must have

  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in Zoom preferred.
  • Consistently demonstrates a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to establish trusted relationships in a virtual environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills required to execute the delivery of and complete reporting for multiple classes, including during peak learning delivery seasons (May-June and September-December ), when classes are delivered in quick succession, sometimes multiple classes per day.
  • Brand ambassador for learning which includes responding to questions from learners and facilitators. Should have a foundational understanding of how to access other learning at EY.
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems is preferred. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient MS Office Skills with competency in the use of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and Teams.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in learning design methodologies and facilitation.
  • Responsible for coordinating other Production Specialists assigned to specific Service Line courses, including complex multi-day events.
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback to team members and other learning professionals.
