About Supplier Ecosystem Services (SES) 

SES sits under SCS and manages the EY Technology and Talent supplier ecosystem. SES delivers contract, performance, commercial and relationship governance services to drive quantitative value and brand value for EY.

Our Technology Suppliers deliver to a wide range of EY Technology demand aligned to EY’s next wave strategy, in a truly global delivery model, working on the leading-edge technologies and delivery methodologies. You’ll be part of the Technology arm of SES and will be able to manage suppliers from an ecosystem of top professional services suppliers.

The opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for someone

• looking to manage one or more Suppliers of an ecosystem of professional services suppliers (Application development and Support). The ecosystem manages about 2500 contractors, delivering from about 10 countries to a range of high-end EY Technology solutions across 100+ project engagements
• with program management experience managing Supplier delivery
• looking to be part of and being able to adapt to a structured and high performing team that has been constantly evolving in alignment to EY’s purpose of Building a Better Working World
• looking to work with global and diverse Suppliers and EY Stakeholders

Your key responsibilities

• Manage Performance
  • Encourage and guide Suppliers in excelling ecosystem benchmarks, thought leadership and continuous improvements
  • Manage Supplier delivery performance working closely with project delivery teams. Supplier service is predominantly agile based project delivery
  • Manage Supplier demand fulfilment performance
  • Manage Supplier on alignment to EY’s commercial objective (preferred commercial model, low cost locations)
  • Support Procurement and contract discussions, including defining underpinning contract requirements, performance criteria, milestone plans, commitments, and deliverables
  • Be able to advise on contracting (commercial models, SLAs, KPIs), as required
• Manage Relationship
  • Responsible for management of the overall relationship of assigned Supplier(s) across EY Technology including management and reporting on Supplier performance
  • Consolidates, monitors, and measures overall performance of the Supplier(s) across the entire Supplier relationship through definition and execution of process for evaluating the Supplier(s) against planned measures
  • Chair and scribe ‘KERs – Key Engagement Reviews’ meetings with Business/EY program directors, procurement team and other key stakeholders to proactively understand and track Supplier(s) performance at each engagement level
  • Run six monthly Customer Satisfaction surveys, process results and drive methodological performance reporting and improvements
  • Escalates key performance issues and critical failures to the Professional Services ecosystem leader. Instigate and ensure the execution of service improvement plans
• • Support in the maturity of the strategic Supplier Management vision, charter, objectives, program, and value metrics
• Manage Contracts and Reporting
  • Manage Contract Obligation tracking and reporting, leveraging on the state-of-the-art contract management tool and SES enablement/PMO team
  • Manage Finance related obligations and levers including discounts, service credits, earn backs, etc
  • Publish monthly relationship scorecard based on feedback from a wide customer base across multiple key projects and engagements across various technology towers and service lines within EY
  • Support publishing ecosystem dashboard, other exec reporting and governance forums
• Enable Suppliers
  • Enable Supplier(s) including contractor onboarding, Supplier connectivity solutions, invoice payment delays
  • Accountable for integration of the Supplier(s) into EY processes and support dependencies between other organizations/Suppliers
  • Collaborate with wider operational support functions across Technology, Finance, SCS and SES enablement function
  • Look at every opportunity to identify transactional/operational tasks to transfer to SES enablement team

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience in IT Supplier management with specific experience in managing agile, devops based Supplier delivery
  • Exposure to managing projects, programs, and full awareness of project methodologies
  • Awareness of project management systems, tools, and quality management system
  • Commercial / PMO awareness on project SOWs, change controls
• Experience in Methodological Performance Management and driving continuous improvements
• Contract Management - Commercial awareness including commercial models, SLAs, KPIs, earn backs, multipliers, ratchets etc (project delivery related)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Awareness of Enterprise quality management system, metrics will be an advantage
• Experience in IT Supplier management of Annuity / Managed services contract
• Certification in project/program management
