The opportunity
EY Strategy and Transactions provides services within the domain of mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, valuations, business modelling, due diligence and financial consulting. Our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.
Working as part of the Strategy & Transactions team, you will be involved in engagements related to corporate transactions.
The Transaction Support team aims to assist clients, throughout the whole transaction process. Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of the service, transaction diligence is much broader, incorporating assistance with business plan assessment, including support to the transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.
Your key responsibilities
- Support the engagements' managers to perform detailed analysis on financial and operational information to identify possible deal breakers and potential opportunities.
- Assist clients in identifying control weaknesses in financial reporting functions as well as operational deficiencies.
- Prepare data-book, and draft financial due diligence reports.
- Cooperate with the overall Strategy and Transactions team and other services lines for cross selling opportunities.
- Coordinate the work of junior colleagues of the project team
- Work closely with clients, targets and other professionals in the legal, tax, management consulting and valuation fields.

To qualify for the role you must have
- University graduates with a minimum of 2 years' professional audit or transaction diligence experience preferably in the financial service sector or Big4 environment
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong finance and accounting skills ismeretek
- Excellent analytical and logical skills
- Strong MS Office knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication in English and Hungarian
