We are seeking to expand our team with an enthusiastic Senior Consultant who will work across a range of sectors (Energy, Automotive, Space & Defense, Education, Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing etc.) You will have opportunities to learn from senior team members through counselling relationships, mentoring, and coaching.

 Your key responsibilities

• Identify and analyze client’s strategic issues
• Lead and guide junior team members, providing direction, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Be an active contact for our clients, responsible for developing work plans, designing and conducting analyses and synthesizing conclusions
• Focus on a variety of client issues, such as:
  • Designing organic and inorganic growth and digital transformation strategies for organizations
  • Performing analysis and diligence on acquisition / divestment candidates
  • Assessing attractiveness of potential targets
  • Understanding new markets with their challenges and opportunities
  • Performing market, industries and companies dynamics research using a variety of sources (e.g. analyst reports, market research reports, news articles, internal sources)
  • Executing various analyses (e.g. customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, avenues for growth, operating model design, macroeconomic / financial forecasting and synergies analysis) to support the strategic recommendations
  • Designing and executing in-depth interview guides with key organizational stakeholders, industry experts and customers
  • Analyzing business plans and pro-forma financial and operating models to help identify key assumptions and drivers

Skills and attributes for success

• Outstanding academic performance with BSc or MSc Degree in the field of Economics, Business or Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting, business consulting, private equity, investment banking, project management, transactions, corporate finance, operations or a quantitative type of research and analytics function
• Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities
• Excellent problem-solving orientation, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills
• Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
• Advanced user level in MS Office tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Excellent knowledge of English and Hungarian language in a professional environment
