Senior Accountant

As a member of EY Hungary's continuously growing Accounting Compliance & Reporting Team within the Tax Service Line, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise while supporting a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.

Responsibilities

As part of our Accounting Compliance & Reporting team, you will:

• Support accounting, bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance activities for a diverse client portfolio
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closings, tax compliance, and statutory financial statement preparation
• Assist with IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting and group reporting requirements
• Collaborate with auditors, clients, and EY professionals across service lines
• Build strong client relationships while delivering high-quality service
• Use digital tools and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and collaboration
• Continuously develop your technical and professional skills through real client engagements

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, reporting, or a related area
• Business-level English and Hungarian, written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Positive attitude, accountability, and eagerness to learn
• Client-oriented mindset
