Job Purpose
As a member of EY Hungary's continuously growing Accounting Compliance & Reporting Team within the Tax Service Line, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise while supporting a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.

Responsibilities
As part of our Accounting Compliance & Reporting team, your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting day-to-day bookkeeping activities for our clients
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and compliance filings
- Participating in month-end and year-end closing processes and the preparation of supporting documentation
- Contributing to the preparation of statutory financial statements
- Supporting IFRS and/or US GAAP to local statutory reporting conversions
- Assisting with the preparation of group reporting packages
- Collaborating with auditors during financial statement audits
- Building and maintaining relationships with local and international clients
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service
- Using technology and digital tools to enhance service delivery and knowledge sharing
- Supporting and, over time, coaching junior colleagues
- Taking ownership of your development by embracing new challenges and learning opportunities
The scope of this role is intentionally broad. While you may already have experience in some of these areas, others can be developed through EY's structured learning programs, coaching, and on-the-job experience.
Requirements
- University or college degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or a related area
- Business-level English and Hungarian, written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning and development
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Client-oriented mindset
- Accountability and willingness to take ownership
Experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance, IFRS, US GAAP, or group reporting is an advantage, but not a requirement. If you are excited about the opportunity and eager to learn, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every qualification listed above.
