The opportunity:


As a Manager in EY’s ERP [SAP] Tax Transformation, you will lead projects that bridge the gap between finance and IT, focusing on indirect taxation and modern SAP technology. You will guide clients through their reporting obligations and help implement end-to-end solutions to complex business challenges.


 
Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead client workshops to capture functional requirements and document user needs

•    Create and maintain functional design documentation to ensure compliance with indirect tax statutory reporting and E-Invoicing requirements

•    Develop and implement strategies for the digitalization of indirect tax processes, with a particular focus on E-Invoicing and statutory reporting

•    Evaluate and advise clients on selecting suitable technical platforms to meet their indirect tax requirements and support their overall tax technology strategy

•    Analyse country-specific indirect tax and E-Invoicing regulations and translate them into actionable technical specifications

•    Collaborate with technical delivery teams to deploy SAP E-Invoicing solutions in partnership with clients’ IT and tax departments

•    Engage with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions

•    Stay informed on emerging trends and advancements in tax technology and provide thought leadership in the field (e.g.: SAP DRC, VIDA)

 

Qualifications/Skills:

 


•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Taxation, Computer Science, or a related field

•    SAP Tax Experience, ideally with 2-3 end to end SAP DRC implementation project and participation in S/4HANA implementation

•    Proven multi-country experience in indirect taxation (e.g., VAT, GST) and technology solutions (e.g., DRC), especially with E-invoicing systems and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Peppol)

•    Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in agile methodologies

•    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to convert complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions (e.g., tax user understanding on SAP FI, SD, MM)

•    Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
