Process Analyst - Business transformation
Job description
At EY Hungary, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.
The Opportunity
Join our Business Transformation team, which specializes in business-driven, and technology-led consulting projects. Our focus areas include operational and organizational efficiency improvement, business process analysis and reengineering. We are seeking a Process Analyst to help clients across industries achieve operational excellence and agility.
As a Process Analyst at EY Hungary, your daily work will focus on helping organizations work more efficiently by understanding and improving how they operate.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Process Analysis – Understanding How Things Work
- Observe and Document Current Processes: Spend time with different teams to see how their work is done. Take notes, ask questions, and create diagrams or flowcharts to show each step in their process.
- Identify Pain Points: Look for steps that take too long, cause confusion, or lead to mistakes. This might involve reviewing reports, listening to employee feedback, or analyzing data to spot trends.
- Gather Requirements: Talk to employees, managers, and other stakeholders to understand what they need from the process and what challenges they face.
- Analyze Data Flows: Map out how information moves between people, departments, or systems. This helps you see where delays or errors might occur.
- Summarize Findings: Prepare clear reports or presentations that explain what is working well, what isn’t, and where improvements can be made.
Process Design – Creating Better Ways of Working
- Design Improved Processes: Use your analysis to suggest new ways of working. This could mean removing unnecessary steps, automating tasks, or introducing new tools.
- Create Visual Models: Draw new process maps or diagrams that show how the improved process will work from start to finish.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Share your ideas with the people who will use the new process. Get their feedback and make adjustments to ensure the new process meets their needs.
- Support Implementation: Help teams put the new process into practice. This might involve creating instructions, training materials, or running workshops.
- Monitor Results: After changes are made, check in to see if the new process is working as intended. Collect feedback and data to measure improvements in efficiency, accuracy, or satisfaction.
