The opportunity
As the new member of EY Hungary’s continuously growing Payroll Team within the Tax Service Line, your main task will be expanding the Payroll client portfolio, and supporting Partners in selling and business development. Independent project and client management.
Your key responsibilities
- Combining strong technical skills with practical commercial, legislative and industry knowledge to lead in developing Payroll Operate services
- Being a central point of contact – liaising with international clients
- Generating new business opportunities
- Building client networks by driving marketing and business development initiatives
- Client management:
- Knowledge of the client and the client’s business
- Addressing questions and issues
- Regularly contact with clients and relationship development
- Broaden your own internal networks across sub service lines. Leading and motivating other sub-service lines of tax to help in developing business in the region
- Pursuing profitable business i.e., which are in line with benchmark engagement economics, fees and estimates-to-complete
- Managing contractual agreements
- Ensuring adherence to the Tax Quality guidelines
- Staying up to date on all relevant changes in the Hungarian payroll business landscape

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Specialized certificate in payroll (OKJ course in payroll)
- 8-10 years of experience in Hungarian payroll
- User level knowledge in NEXON
- Good communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of Office products (Ms Excel, Word, etc.)
- Up-to-date knowledge in social security, personal income tax and labour law related questions
