The Opportunity
 

EY Hungary is a leading professional services firm, offering Tax, Consulting, Assurance, and Transaction Advisory services to both domestic and international clients. We are currently seeking a Manager to join our Tax Service Line and play a key role in our Business Tax Advisory business.

 

Your Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage the end-to-end process within the Business Tax Advisory business line.
• Address legitimate client needs while fulfilling EY Hungary's responsibilities to all stakeholders, prioritizing risk management and high-quality service.
• Produce consistently high-quality work that is accurate, complete, and clear.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of business tax principles and effectively apply them to client situations, translating technical skills into practical, solution-oriented advice to add value for our clients.
• Foster an environment that enables the team to manage delivery effectively and achieve the highest quality standards.
• Assist with multiple projects, execute technical matters, and manage operations of the practice, including researching business tax legislation, case law, and other guidance to support client engagements.
  
   

Skills and attributes for success 

• A strong background and extensive work experience (3-5 years) in corporate income tax and local business tax.
• Profound knowledge of IFRS.
• A primary degree and relevant professional qualifications.
• Fluent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both Hungarian and English.
• Experience from a recognizable consulting firm is an advantage, as is industrial experience and involvement in tactical issues.
