Job purpose

Senior is primarily responsible for the gathering, validating, and evaluating client information, undertaking transaction tax projects, and assuring quality. Assist the Manager in Transaction Tax Team in BA for building team for Europe West. Also, act as a counsellor for staff, where required.

Your client responsibilities:

•    Develop and deliver tax advice on projects such as transaction structuring, tax due diligence, cross border acquisitions and corporate restructuring
•    Assist in business development initiatives 
•    Take ownership of your schedule and proactively seek work when necessary to meet your annual chargeability goal
•    Assist in managing client expectations, wherever required, in consultation with project leaders
•    Assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders 
•    Assist in building strong internal relationships within the team and across other services 
•    Foster collaboration and constructive communication within the team
•    Adhere to practice protocols and other internal processes consistently

Your people responsibilities - as a Senior you will:

•    Develop, mentor, and supervise Staffs 
•    Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff 
•    Assist Team Leader in fostering teamwork 
•    Use technology to share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery

Qualifications & Experience:

•    3-5 years of experience working in Income/ Corporate/ Transaction Tax environment
•    Proficiency in English and Italian
•    A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
•    Preference would be given to experience on transaction structuring, tax due diligence, cross border acquisition and corporate restructuring 
•    CPA/CFA/CA/EA/CMA certification is an advantage
