As part of our People Advisory Services - Global Mobility team, you help our clients manage business issues relating to their global workforce by providing immigration, tax and social security services to their international assignees / foreign local hires. 

 

Purpose

 

Your role helps our clients manage the complex challenges of deploying a globally mobile  workforce. You help our clients improve their business in an evolving global economy and realize sustainable economic growth by helping them integrate the people agenda into their business strategy. 

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

The Manager is accountable for oversight and delivery of client service and operational teams dedicated to the MENA region. You are responsible for driving strategic growth and GDS operational capability goals for your portfolio of work. 

  

You build strong and trusted working relationships with client, country and/or regionally based EY counterparts to lead GDS delivery on operational and strategic objectives and  outcomes. Your activities include project management, identifying and implementing  process and capability improvements, driving operational deliverables and outcomes and supervising immigration support team(s).   

 

You drive performance and strategic objectives across your portfolio of responsibility. 

  • identify and drive continuous performance improvement outcomes for efficiency and quality  
  • drive GDS adherence to EY’s risk management protocols 
  • monitor and manage service delivery metrics; CDP, SLA/KPI reports, client reporting, escalations, utilisation, and performance metrics reporting to the local office senior manager/partner. 
  • monitor and manage financial metrics; review of time and expenses, margin analysis etc. to maintain healthy engagement financials 
  • identify and pre-empt technical or process issues may impact the client or immigration formalities and associated trouble-shooting and remedial action 

 

Role Requirements

 

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, travel, tourism and  hospitality, Commerce, Arts, Law (Immigration), English Language and  Literature/Communicative English/Mass Communication & Journalism or related fields.

 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years professional experience in immigration or mobility role/environment within proven experience driving high performing teams and  managing internal and external stakeholders (big 4 experience is an advantage). 
  • Proven experience and knowledge of mobility frameworks and processes
  • Demonstrated exposure to applicable criteria, drafting and process requirements    
  • Working exposure to Consular visa application processes highly desirable 

 

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Exceptional written and oral fluency in English essential 
  • Experience working with mobility vendors advantageous 
  • Experience with substantive writing, editing, and proofreading a variety of  documentation, and the ability to draft articulate and persuasive communications advantageous 
  • Outstanding administrative and communication skills, mature business sense, and ability to perform in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment 
  • Ability to manage multiple and intercultural stakeholder relationship  
  • Excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail  
  • Exposure to quality control and risk management processes  
  • Ability to work flexibly and accurately in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong project management and people management skills.
