Job purpose

Manager is primarily responsible for the planning of engagement(s), managing client accounts, gathering, validating, and evaluating client information, undertaking transaction tax projects and assuring quality. Serve as a point of contact for Transaction Tax Team in BA for Europe West.
Also, act as a counsellor for staff/ seniors.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyze and document data, models and calculation input/output data
• Data manipulation and calculations in respect of financial accounting disclosures and creation of data mapping specifications and requirements
• Understanding of Fund flow analysis
• Develop customized financial / tax models based on different scenarios and assumptions
• Preparing presentation materials articulating the implications of Tax 

Your people responsibilities - as a Manager you will:

• Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contribution to the team
• Develop, mentor and supervise Staffs and Seniors
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
• Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining, and training the professionals
• Maintain a robust educational program by conducting trainings to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
• Foster teamwork and lead by example
• Use technology to share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery
• Effectively fulfil the role of a change agent

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 - 8 years of experience working in Income/ Corporate/ Transaction Tax environment
• Proficiency in French and English
• Should have finance background and be able to understand and work on data modelling and financial modelling, funds flow, etc.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• Preference would be given to experience on transaction structuring, tax due diligence, cross border acquisition and corporate restructuring
• CPA/CFA/CA/EA/CMA certification is an advantage
