The opportunity

The Business Transformation team focuses on management consulting services including transformation to circular business models, design and implementation of waste management systems, corporate waste management process redesign, corporate & functional strategy deployment on process and organizational level, business and process analysis for efficiency improvement.

We are seeking to expand our team with a Senior Business Consultant special focus on circular economy and waste management.

At the Senior level, you will navigate countries and companies in the journey of transformation towards circular economy model.

Your key responsibilities 

• Undertake market, business, financial and waste management related assessments based on structured data analyses and leading practice comparisons both from internal EY knowledge base and market research
• Perform thorough data and information gathering via client interviews, workshops, document reviews to undertake in depth business and operational process analyses independently, under close supervision of a project manager

• Synthesize analysis results and draw meaningful conclusions and alternative solutions
• Design results in structured format (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Work closely and support project manager in pro-active manner to deliver project tasks on time in a high quality.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3+ years’ work experience in project delivery especially in the field of waste management, circular economy, sustainability, EHS, or/at a business consulting firm
• MSc Degree
• Strong analytical approach structural and pro-active design thinking, fact-based problem solving, persuasion skills

• Outstanding communication & presentation skills in Hungarian and English
• Advanced user level in MS Office tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
