You’ll work as part of high-performing team on a broad range of clients and assignments that will stretch and challenge you. You’ll be encouraged and expected to take accountability and make an impact.
Your key responsibilities
- Participate in performing audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues.
- Collaborate to plan objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.
- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
- Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and lead by example.
- Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
Skills and attributes for success
- Knowledge of English at intermediate level or above
- Confidence in PC use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of local GAAP (Romanian accounting) and basic knowledge of IFRS
Ideally, you’ll also

Have previous experience in audit or accounting

Possess an understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies

Demonstrate compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements

Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility and providing support

Perform or supervise the execution of audit procedures in accordance with EY’s methodology and quality standards

Be involved in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients and other parties
