The opportunity

At EY Romania, we are looking for an SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP GTS modules. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations while optimizing processes and delivering best-in-class solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Prepare business proposals and presentations.
• Implement, configure, and support SAP GTS (compliance management, customs management, risk management).
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ERP systems and external partners.
• Manage and participate in global rollout projects.
• Conduct user training and create documentation.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing SAP GTS solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance with global trade regulations.

Skills and attributes for success

   •   Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

   •   Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. 

    •   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

   •   3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS.

   •   Strong knowledge of international trade compliance processes and regulations.

   •   Experience in integration with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC.

   •   Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration.
• Knowledge with Global Trade SAP Implementations.
• Knowledge of export control, sanctioned party list screening, and customs management.
• SAP Certification(s) in GTS or related areas.
