The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Financial Accounting Advisory team. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters, analysing accounting treatments under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as local accounting requirements. You will work closely with clients across a range of industries (financial institutions and commercial entities) supporting them on technical accounting issues, financial reporting, and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth research and prepare high-quality technical accounting analyses related to clients’ transactions, structures, and operations.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures to be delivered to clients.
- Act as an influential member of the team by fostering a positive learning culture, coaching and mentoring junior team members, and supporting their professional development.
- Support business development initiatives, including assisting with the preparation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, high-value accounting advice.
Skills and attributes for success
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in audit, financial reporting, accounting advisory, or methodology.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to contribute to proposals and other business development activities.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- ACCA qualification (or equivalent) is required.
