The opportunity
As a Junior Consultant in our team, you will work within a highly integrated, global environment, gaining valuable experience and tools to support your career development.
Your key responsibilities
Assist in analyzing and assessing strategic investment projects, ensuring compliance with Romanian and European incentive legislation while providing quality support to clients.
Stay informed about national and supranational policies and incentive regulations to aid in strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on projects related to EU incentives and national regulatory matters.
Engage with clients to understand their challenges and contribute to tailored solutions that meet their needs.
Support the development of negotiation strategies with national authorities and assist in the notification approach towards the European Commission.
Contribute to drafting incentive advice, incentive applications, including notification forms, and business plans.
Help prepare reports and presentations that communicate complex technical information clearly.
Conduct market research and analysis for various industries.
Skills and attributes for success
Ability to interpret legal and economic information with guidance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Professional attitude and eagerness to learn and develop expertise continuously.
A university degree in economics or a related field; additional qualifications in law would be beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at an advanced level.
A general understanding of Romanian and/or European incentives legislation is a plus.
Some practical experience in assessing incentive cases will be valued.
Familiarity with current EU strategies is considered an advantage.
