EYP Operations & Transformation Lead

The opportunity

The EYP Operations & Transformation Lead will support the leadership team in driving operational excellence and advancing the transformation agenda across EY-Parthenon in Romania. The role combines management of operational and transformation initiatives, including embedding AI into day-to-day workflows, to accelerate delivery model change and enhance both client, and employee experience.

As EYP Operations and Transformation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving change and have direct impact in shaping the operating and delivery model.

You will report directly to the EYP leader for Romania and work closely with the EYP Romania leadership team. You will also interact with senior leadership and transformation initiative leaders in Romania and across the wider Europe Central region, comprising of 33 countries, and which Romania is part of.

Your key responsibilities

1. Operations Management:

• Support EYP leadership in planning and executing key operational initiatives
• Drive execution of strategic priorities and follow-up on key actions
• Ensure alignment across teams on operational priorities and deliverable
• Work with business leads to identify operational activities for transformation  
• Manage ad-hoc projects supporting business needs

2. Service Line AI Transformation & Enablement

• Act as key interface between business, country, and regional transformation teams, ensuring alignment and execution
• Drive adoption of global and regional initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions
• Work with business leads to implementing technology-enabled solutions for critical and manual workflows
• Manage transformation programs end-to-end (planning, tracking, reporting)
• Monitor impact, progress, and value delivery of transformation initiatives
• Support prioritization and scaling of initiatives aligned with business strategy and value

Skills and attributes for success

• 5–8+ years of experience in:
  Operations / business management / consulting OR
  Transformation / PMO roles
• Experience in professional services environment is a strong advantage
• Strong project management and coordination skills
• Excellent stakeholder management & communication
• Ability to translate business needs into structured initiatives/use cases
• Strong organizational and execution discipline
• Analytical mindset with focus on problem-solving
• Exposure to digital tools / transformation initiatives (AI exposure is a plus, not mandatory)
