About EMEIA Public Policy

The EMEIA Public Policy team, based in three different locations across Europe (Brussels, Berlin and London), helps to enhance EY’s brand, reputation and license to operate while supporting EY client teams in the market by focusing on EU public policy and regulatory issues that affect our business, our profession and the broader capital markets.

This involves developing relationships with policy makers, regulators, trade associations, investors, and professional bodies as well as leading on many areas of public policy. In so doing, we aim to better articulate the value that EY can bring to the EU institutions and thereby earn their trust.

The EMEIA Public Policy team is responsible for monitoring and engaging in regulatory and public policy affairs at European and EMEIA levels.

Your key responsibilities
The intern’s activities will be focused on the evolution of policy and regulatory developments at the European level, with a particular emphasis on the policy developments resulting from the European Institutions and the relevant stakeholder community in the EU.   • Leading on the development and drafting of internal and external communications;
  • Monitoring and analyzing EU legislative developments;
  • Representing EY at events and reporting on conferences;
  • Providing ad hoc support to the EMEIA Public Policy Team for specific projects.

  • You are available as from early/mid-May 2023 for 6-7 months to work in our office in Brussels;
