Senior Manager - Corporate Tax - Private Tax
The opportunity
In your capacity as a Senior Manager within our Private Tax team, you will collaborate closely with a diverse portfolio of substantial private businesses, corporate groups, high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as innovative start-up ventures. This senior role provides extensive opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and hands-on experience with private and corporate clients—spanning engagements that include complex cross-border and international tax matters.

This is a hybrid position based in Meanjin – Brisbane. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Leading and strategically managing a portfolio of diverse growth clients, including large privately owned corporate groups operating in Australia and internationally, significant privately owned businesses, high-net-worth families, trusts, and other complex privately owned entities.
- Directing tax compliance, financial reporting, and planning activities, as well as overseeing the delivery of high-level advisory services for complex client groups comprising a variety of entities such as companies (including tax consolidated groups), trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Collaborating closely with Partners and senior Tax specialists to provide expert consulting advice to substantial privately owned corporate groups, high-net-worth individuals, family businesses, and their owners on complex tax issues, including corporate restructures, domestic and international transactions, capital gains tax, Division 7A, and specialised trust matters.
Skills and attributes for success
- Extensive experience in Tax Consulting, preferably within a leading or highly regarded accounting or legal firm, demonstrating a track record of delivering strategic tax solutions at a senior level.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, fostering professional growth and building high-performing teams.
- Expert-level tax technical knowledge across corporate groups, trusts and individuals, with a strong capacity to provide guidance on complex tax matters.
