The opportunity
The quality of our Accounting Compliance and Reporting team, and the work we deliver, has driven increased demand for our services, resulting in rapid team growth.
We are seeking experienced financial reporting specialists to join our team, including Senior Consultants from a range of professional backgrounds who bring strong financial reporting capabilities and a commitment to client service.
This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Boorloo - Perth, Meanjin - Brisbane, Naarm - Melbourne or Warrang - Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of statutory reporting services for a portfolio of corporate clients, coordinating key stakeholders and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end provision of corporate financial reporting services, drawing on the expertise of EY’s Financial Accounting and Advisory specialists to meet clients’ evolving needs.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to identify opportunities, stay informed of emerging issues, and contribute to business growth.
- Support and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture that celebrates success and continuous learning.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and experience applying them in statutory financial reporting, gained through professional services, industry, or related environments.
- Confidence in communicating and building relationships with clients and stakeholders, including leading discussions on technical matters and coordinating engagements.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with a high level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- CA qualified (or equivalent), or working towards completion, with experience collaborating effectively across geographically dispersed teams.
