Professional Practice Group (PPG) Administrator
The Opportunity
As our Professional Practice Group Administrator, you will work closely with the Oceania Professional Practice Director and the PPG team, as well as client-serving leaders and professionals in Oceania. Your role will support Audit Quality and the management of our professional practice function. You will help keep track of the PPG activities calendar, ensuring we meet important compliance requirements related to Assurance. This includes supporting the team in managing processes and assisting with annual testing. You will also organise meetings for our Governance and Policy Committees, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
This position can either be based in Naarm – Melbourne, Meanjin – Brisbane, or Warrang – Sydney.
Your key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with risk management team, relevant EY Global delegates, finance and other market location leaders and PPGs.
- Build and maintain relationships with client serving staff in market location/SSL to connect and compile information required for regulatory compliances, firm registration and other regulator submission related processes.
- Learn and familiarise on SQM framework, as applicable to the professional practice, including details on reports and other information required by the control owners and control operators to be complaint of the process and frequency of performing the controls.
Skills and attributes for success
- 3 - 6 years previous work experience, professional services experience advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working closely with large groups of people in a professional service-oriented environment (workforce planning or previous resource planning is advantageous, but not essential).

- A key interest in driving best practices and building relationships across functional team
- An understanding of the key tools and reports relevant for audit quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Prioritization, organisation and co-ordination skills
