- M&A Lead Advisory: We assist our clients in identifying and realizing strategic market opportunities.
- Corporate Finance Consulting: We provide professional advice on optimizing capital structures and project financing.
- Strategy Consulting: We help clients formulate and implement decisions regarding the strategic direction of their organizations.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a member of our M&A Lead Advisory/Corporate Finance team, participating in the execution of transactions for both domestic and international clients. You will work on complex sell-side and buy-side mandates, conducting financial analyses, valuations, preparing marketing materials and coordinating due diligence processes. You are expected to have expertise in the entire transaction lifecycle, the ability to manage workstreams independently, coach junior colleagues and actively contribute to business development.
Your key responsibilities
- Supporting the execution of M&A transactions (sales, acquisitions, joint ventures, fundraising)
- Preparing and assessing financial models and valuation analyses (DCF methods, market and transaction multiples)
- Collaborating on the creation of marketing transaction materials, such as Information Memoranda (IM), teasers and management presentations
- Coordinating and supporting due diligence processes (financial, legal, commercial)
- Directly communicating with clients, investors and other consultants within the transaction
- Coaching and contributing to the development of junior analysts/consultants
- Supporting the acquisition of new business opportunities (business development), preparing pitchbooks, sector analyses and market trends
- Mapping the M&A market across industries, identifying the target companies and collecting relevant market information
Skills and attributes for success
- Three to five years of experience in M&A, Transaction Advisory, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Corporate Finance
- Completed university education in economics, accounting or a related field of study
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial modeling and valuation, including familiarity with DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis and precedent transactions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of databases (Capital IQ, Mergermarket, PitchBook) is considered an advantage
- Excellent English (both written and verbal); knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage smaller workstreams within larger projects
