Senior Consultant - Strategy and Transactions
Our Strategy and Transactions team helps potential investors uncover hidden problems or future risks in the companies they are about to buy. Our role is to identify and assess the financial situation of companies through an in-depth analysis of financial and business information, drawing the client’s attention to risks associated with the transaction. To be fully prepared for such deals, investors need to know all details and understand the underlying narratives. We prepare due diligence for clients to be used as the basis for negotiating the purchase price. Our daily work involves financial analyses, reports, work in Excel and preparation of final reports.
As a member of our team, you will work on projects and cooperate with many multinationals, startups, fast-growing companies, and private equity firms. These projects will primarily take place in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, but some due diligence projects will allow you to travel abroad, mainly within Europe.

Your key responsibilities:
- Work on projects providing consultancy services for corporate valuation and financial modeling
- Participate in both the preparation of valuation models and comparison of different business valuation models
- Contribute to the preparation of valuation reports, final reports, and opinions for clients, interpreting analyzed information and consolidating it into clear outputs and then preparing reports for clients
- Identify risks and items which should be reflected in the purchase price and provide inputs into share/asset purchase agreements
- Prepare supporting documents and engage in discussions with the target company’s management, contributing to the presentation of findings
- Help junior colleagues with analyses evaluating target companies, sharing your experience with them while coordinating their work
Skills and attributes for success:
- A university degree in economics with specialization in accounting and finance, or a university degree with a math or legal focus
- At least two to three years of work experience in financial reporting (IFRS, Slovak/Czech accounting standards) and financial analysis
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and a precise approach
- Enthusiasm and a continuous learning mindset
- Team player
- Analytical, logical and critical thinking
- Ability to analyze financial and non-financial information to form opinions and draw conclusions
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Fluent in English
- Experience in leading a small team or a project is considered a plus
