The opportunity 

Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is comprised of professionals who have experience in the practical implementation of accounting standards, including the planning and realization of complex projects, such as the transition from national accounting standards to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). We cooperate closely with chief financial officers, audit committee members, treasurers, and other financial managers, helping them correctly interpret planned changes to accounting standards and other regulations, and assess how these changes will affect their companies. 

We provide companies with support in navigating the maze of IFRS, governance and regulatory requirements, and in confronting the new world phenomenon of Big Data. We also provide advisory services related to the automation of financial processes.

Your key responsibilities 

• Participate in consultancy projects related to IFRS implementation

• Participate in projects aimed at consolidating financial statements for international and local groups of companies

• Be involved in projects related to the setup or enhancement of existing processes

• Process and prepare data for data analysis projects

Skills and attributes for success

• 4th/5th year University student of economical or technical studies

• Knowledge of accounting

• Experience in audit, accounting and financial advisory is a plus

• Independence in seeking information and looking for solutions to problems

• Logical and analytical thinking

• Willingness to learn

• Strong communication skills

• Fluent in English and Slovak; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus

• PC literacy (MS Office, mainly MS Excel)
