Consultant, Business Consulting, Transformation Architecture - Underwriting - Financial Services Office (FSO) (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Boston, MA.
Advise on the operational aspects of client business with a focus on the front and middle office including distribution management, sales, underwriting, customer servicing, policy administration and claims. Develop in-depth understanding of clients’ unique needs and goals, before developing meaningful improvement insights. Communicate effective new strategies with the team. Design new operating models to enable the strategies and define business, technology and information requirements to enable the target state. Develop enablement plans and strategies.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience working in Property and Casualty (P&C) underwriting, product development and/or product management for personal, commercial or specialty lines.
Must have 3 years of experience researching and analyzing client inquiries and emerging issues, such as regulations, property, or casualty insurance industry practices, and/or new application technologies.
Must have 2 years of experience supervising teams of business advisors or underwriters through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, process and prose creation, business re-engineering, and/or application mapping.
Requires domestic travel up to 80%, in order to meet client needs.
