Student Recruitment Advisor – Operations
Location: Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow
Hybrid: up to 40% travel/ on campuses, once a week anchor day in the office and running in-person assessment days

We operate a hybrid model, you will need to spend time in the office, and you will also spend up to 40% of your time at university or school events.
To qualify for the role, you’ll have some of the following:
- A passion for student recruitment, with prior 360 recruitment full lifecycle experience in managing recruitment pipelines, funnel optimisation, recruitment forecasting to ensure proactive top up attraction strategies are in place
- Previous experience in a large organisation in a high-volume recruitment operational role or delivering across scale and regional complexity
- Strong data skills with the ability to spot anomalies and tell stories with that data; you should be confident using Excel and or Power BI (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc)
- Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills – with the ability to challenge where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm
- Proactively supports the student recruitment team across all regions supporting wider attraction strategies to build a brand identity and advocacy across diversity
- Delivers top up graduate and school leaver hiring strategies for local market and niche requirements
- Primary focus on fill rate aligned to regional and markets strategy across all programmes
- Proactively manages the candidate experience and time in process to provide the best experience, reduce renege rates, flight risks and talent loss
- Understanding all aspects of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) including tracking, processing candidates, search and reporting capabilities
- Demonstrating an understanding of and experience of strengths-based assessment tools and methodology behind each
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience of public speaking/ delivering workshops to students
- Ability to quickly prioritise work and remain flexible in accordance with business needs
- Proven ability to work autonomously and to high standards, able to take the lead on assigned projects using knowledge to achieve quality results
- Proactively engages with the student team to plan sourcing for niche hard to fill roles and develops business engagement to expand volunteers and brand ambassadors based on recruitment data and demand forecasts against fill rate
- Involvement in cross team projects and initiatives to support the wider team
- Drives continuous improvement of the recruitment process to reduce talent loss and time in process
- Passionate about operational recruitment excellence
- Ability to work in a face paced environment ever evolving, and exciting recruitment environment
