Job description

Requisition ID:  1584119

Cyber, data and emerging technology are an increasingly important part of the world we live in and the systems that support it. We help clients in gaining confidence in not only the security and integrity of their technology and data, but how this can be thoughtfully integrated into broader areas such as regulation, environment and reporting. We do this by providing a broad range of technology assurance services, which include responding to specific regulation as well as managing fast-paced emerging technologies such as AI. The work we do helps builds more safely connected systems, which are better understood by their users and can be delivered sustainably and securely.

As a Director in our team focused on cyber, data and emerging technology you will help our clients build trust and transparency in technology whilst simultaneously gaining skills to develop a career in a fast-growing professional services organisation. Working with some of the world’s most prestigious  organisations you will be an integral part of our Technology Assurance team within EY UK’s  Assurance practice.

The opportunity

As a Director you will be responsible for market engagement on cyber, data and emerging technology – both in delivering our services externally to clients, and in integrating them across other services our firm delivers. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, and leading the design and oversight of how can support them.

It is an opportunity to help accelerate an important part of our business, while working alongside a supportive broader leadership team and developing your own career.

We are a team with a history and ambition of growth and innovation and have a clear focus on delivering high-quality, multi-disciplinary projects, helping clients solve their most complex technology and data issues. We are team of around 200 professionals in the UK and part of a much larger global organisation.

Your key responsibilities

An important part of your role as a Director is to establish, maintain and strengthen relationships both internally and in the market, i.e. become a trusted advisor to your clients across various sectors. You’ll help create a positive and diverse learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members to help them develop. In line with our commitment to quality, you'll also have a key role in ensuring exceptional client service and delivery. At the same time as maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high quality outcomes you will need to manage multiple client teams and engagement types. You will have responsibility for business and solution development and be focused on the external market.
