The opportunity
EY’s global enterprise technology group provides various enabling services (ERP, infrastructure, platforms, service desk) to assist over 300K employees in creating and delivering solutions and services to Fortune 500, privately held and government like entities.
The Continuous Improvement Analyst is responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements within the Unified support services team to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. This role involves analyzing current processes, recommending improvements, and leading projects to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities
- Collaborate with service delivery , product & services teams to understand processes, identify inefficiencies, and gather data for analysis.
- Utilize continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to analyze workflows and processes.
- Facilitate process mapping sessions and conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Develop and propose improvement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Design and implement pilot projects to test the effectiveness of proposed process changes.
- Monitor and measure the impact of implemented improvements, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement techniques and best practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in continuous improvement methodologies.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
- Proven experience in a continuous improvement role, with a track record of successful process enhancement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Knowledge of project management principles and experience leading projects.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related continuous improvement methodology is highly desirable.
- ITIL processes knowledge is a must
