Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Functional Tester with strong expertise in Asset Management and Middle Office functional modules. The candidate must have hands-on experience with TCS Bancs application and a deep understanding of trade lifecycle, valuations, corporate actions, and reconciliations.

You will be responsible for executing tasks with increasing autonomy, applying sound judgment within defined parameters, and contributing to team outcomes. You are expected to demonstrate initiative, resolve routine issues independently, and support junior colleagues.

You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contributing to the delivery of processes, solutions, and/or projects, by delivering agreed activities, researching, and presenting relevant information to inform recommendations.
  • Perform functional testing for Asset Management and Middle Office modules within TCS Bancs.
  • Validate trade processing workflows, including matching and confirmation.
  • Test portfolio valuations, calculations, and ensure accurate period closures.
  • Verify lifecycle events for various instruments such as equities, derivatives, and alternative investments.
  • Conduct reconciliation testing for IBOR and ABOR.
  • Validate collateral management processes, including securities lending.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure functional accuracy and compliance.
  • Document test results, raise defects, and track resolution.
  • Accountable for delivering the work and meeting required targets without any deviations.
  • Hands-on experience on test management tools like JIRA & ALM.
  • Basic knowledge of any test automation tools like Selenium, UFT, Protractor, Playwright etc.
  • Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development, and teaming etc.)
  • Responsible in requirement gathering/analysis, prepare test scenarios & test scripts based on the requirements, execute the planned test cases and report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process.
  • Participate in the status calls, Scrum calls, and client meetings.
  • Train the new resources in the project and help them in all possible ways.
  • Status reporting to Team Lead / Manager

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Mandatory: TCS Bancs application experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Management and Middle Office functional modules.

 

Expertise in:

  • Trade processing (matching, confirmation)
  • Valuations - portfolio calculations, period closures
  • Corporate actions - mandatory and voluntary
  • Lifecycle events - equities, derivatives, alternative investments
  • Reconciliations - IBOR, ABOR
  • Collateral management (securities lending)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

 

What we look for

  • BE / BTech / MCA / M.Sc.
  • 3-5 years of testing experience in Banking & Wealth Management platforms
  • At least have basic experience in any of the automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Protractor)
  • Flexible in working any shifts / ODC environments.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in functional testing methodologies and tools.
